SENTINEL
SENTINEL is intended as a follow-on project to exploit the data gathering network created under GAARDIAN. The SENTINEL probes will be used to detect disruption, interference or jamming of key Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) services such as GNSS and eLoran. The project will introduce:
- The first detailed multimodal analysis of the nature and extent of GNSS and eLoran interference which might compromise trusted services.
- Research into techniques for real-time detection, characterisation, discrimination and location of natural and deliberate interference phenomena and threats.
