R&RNAV provides ongoing support to maintaining GLA AtoN availability to IALA standards. R&RNAV undertakes a number of other projects, which fall outside its main project areas; these include:
- Radar Beacons (RACONs)
- Noise investigation
- Radar conspicuity of Trinity House Class 1 buoy superstructure
The GLAs in conjunction with R&RNAV are developing a plan for the introduction of new technology RACONs.
