R&RNAV represented the GLAs at the recent International Marine Aids to Navigation and
Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) e-Navigation committee meeting. The meeting was held on the 10th March 2011 in Copenhagen. The meeting was well attended with over 100 attendees, with the committee work divided into six working groups.
R&RNAV participated in all six working groups with particular focus on working group 2 on
PNT/Sensors. The meeting was very useful and the working group considered GNSS vulnerabilities,
potential mitigating actions and reviewed a potential architecture that could bring together
information from a number of sensors to generate a single PNT solution.
