Dr Alan Grant of R&RNAV presented on the Observed impact of GPS jamming and the benefits of eLoran to the Knowledge Transfer Network’s recent conference GPS Jamming and Interference- a clear and present danger.
Dr Grant’s presentation focused on the results of two trials investigating the effects of GPS jamming on marine navigation and on the benefits of eLoran. This and all other presentations from the conference are available from the conference website.
The issue of GPS jamming has been the focus of a number of news articles recently, in both specialist and general news media, such as InsideGNSS, The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC News, The Register, and The Inquirer.
