Members of the R&RNAV lights team recently visited Casquets Lights, located West of Alderney to test a LED light source they have developed. The LED light source met the navigational requirement, enabling the engineering department of Trinity House to solarise the station upon re-engineering.
The visit and tests are the focus of an article in Lloyd’s List “Lighthouses to get green makeover” .
